Since the 1960s, the company has always been focused on the cultivation of native olive varieties widespread in the area, such as Piantone di Mogliano and Orbetana, favored by its hilly location and the predominantly sandy composition of the soil. Mr. Balloriani Amelio began to assist his father Gino in running the company as early as the 90s and took ownership of it in May 2008, becoming passionate about the olive world from the very beginning, which according to him is the one that has the most development and commercial prospects thanks to the production of quality extra virgin olive oil and monovarietals.

From 2004 until 2013, about 800 olive trees were planted, reaching a total of about 1000 units, preferring local varieties such as Piantone di Mogliano, Orbetana, Coroncina, Mignola without disdaining the national Leccino and Frantoio, plus for a whim , passion and delight there are another fifteen at least of local and non-local varieties such as Ascolana, Canino, Carolea, Itrana, Moraiolo, Nostrale di Rigali, Piantone di Falerone, Pendolino, etc. and they will still stop.

The owner Balloriani Amelio has attended specialization courses regarding the pruning of the olive tree, and other fruit trees, the tasting of olive oil and the management of educational farms, assuming such knowledge and specialization as to allow him to prune forward the whole discourse of the olive oil chain from the field, to the transformation, to the packaging through an authorized laboratory and to the marketing with its own label of extra virgin olive oil.
