EVOO – “Nughes” extra virgin olive oil

The “NUGHES” extra virgin olive oil derives from cultivation and care of organically grown olives; the olive trees present are of the Nera di Villacidro and Tonda di Cagliari varieties. The harvested olives allow us to obtain a BLEND composed of 70% of oil extracted from the Nera di Villacidro variety and 30% from the Tonda di Cagliari variety. The oil is extracted in our company laboratory with a two-phase mill with cold working at an extraction temperature that does not exceed 25 degrees and filtered out of the decanter with a carton system. The oil has an intense fruity flavour, with notes of grass and wild thistle, it goes well with salads, grilled or raw vegetables and fish-based dishes.
